Privacy Policy

Get Watch Faces — applies to our Garmin Connect IQ watch faces. Last updated: 17 July 2026.

Our watch faces are designed to respect your privacy. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal data. Everything the face shows is rendered on your watch and stays there.

Data the watch face reads (on-device only)

• Activity & health metrics (steps, heart rate, calories, Body Battery, etc.) — read from your Garmin device only to display them on the watch face. They are never transmitted off the device.
• Location — the last-known GPS position from your device is used solely to compute local sunrise/sunset times shown on the face. Your location is never stored or sent anywhere.

Network use

Some faces (e.g. our football fixtures face) periodically download a public schedule file from our server so the displayed matches stay current. This is a one-way download: the request sends no personal data, identifiers, or location — it only retrieves a small public JSON file. No analytics or tracking are attached.

Optional weather provider (MET Norway)

Some faces (e.g. Quipu) let you optionally switch the weather source to MET Norway. When you enable this, the watch periodically (about once per hour) sends your approximate location — rounded to roughly 1 km — to our weather relay, which fetches the forecast from MET Norway and returns a tiny summary (temperature, conditions, UV). The request contains no name, account, identifier, or health data; nothing is logged or stored on our servers. Weather data © MET Norway, licensed CC BY 4.0. With the default Garmin weather source, no request is ever made to our servers.

Third parties

We do not use advertising or analytics SDKs. We have no access to your Garmin account. National flag images are public-domain symbols; the app uses no FIFA, federation, or other third-party trademarks.

Children

Our watch faces do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new date.
